Red Huskies is excited to host Garrett Dyer for a half day workshop/seminar!

The workshop will be tailored to each team’s level of training. This workshop will focus on strengthening the working relationship and communication between dog and handler through a range of challenging search scenarios with respect to the dogs level of training.  The workshop will feature particular challenges typically encountered at that level and how to introduce or hone the skills needed to perform at that level and introduce concepts at the handler’s next level.

The workshop will start after the conclusion of the NACSW Trials hosted that day. We anticipate somewhere around 2pm, give or take an hour. Specific details will be sent that week with check in times.

Afternoon session: at conclusion of the trials approx. 2-6:30pm
1:30pm:  Registration
2-2:15pm: Briefing
2:15-6pm: Breakout sessions
6pm: Conclusion/briefing

“Let’s Talk Dog” discussion is designed as a question and answer session geared towards allowing participants to engage in relevant dog training discussion pertaining to Nosework.

Price per session for each working team: $225 (not including meals). Meals can be purchased/coordinated with the host the week prior to the seminar. 6 working teams total.

Cabins directly on camp are available to rent at a low cost. Cabins are mostly available on Sunday night after the training, with a very limited number of cabins available on Saturday evening (unless teams are open to sharing).
Camping, campers, RVs, tents, overnight stays are allowed. Please check with host.

Cancellation policy: a full refund will be given if your spot is filled with someone on the waitlist, or if no waitlist, you can find someone to take your spot. Otherwise, no refund will be given. Payment is needed at registration to secure your spot.
