Red Huskies is excited to host a day of trial experiences w/ Aaron Adamak at Camp Kekoka in Kilmarnock, VA on Tuesday, May 9.

Training for the Trial

This opportunity is similar to a mock-trial in that searches will be conducted like a mock trial, but immediately after the search, instructors will provide feedback and coaching on the search. This training day is for you if:

• you have never trialed and want to experience a trial setting and trial parameters, including timed searching
• you have trialed but need practice with timed searching
• you need help with time pressure

Aaron has mentioned that he has seen teams compete and following a search, wanted to provide instant feedback on their search strategies or provide coaching and comments. This is the chance for teams to try their hand at a trial and receive that instant feedback, make adjustments for the rest of the searches that day, and take away trial knowledge.

Checkin will be at 8:30am.

At the moment, there are 15 teams allowed to register. This number may increase (as challenges and times are finalized to determine if more teams can be accommodated).

Teams will be grouped in the run order based on skill level (NW1-3, Elite, etc).

Price $160/working dog handler team

Lunch can be purchased/coordinated with the host the week prior to the event day.

Rain or shine event. Overnight parking/cabin rental available.

Cancellation policy: a full refund will be given if your spot is filled with someone on the waitlist, or if no waitlist, you can find someone to take your spot. Otherwise, 50% will be refunded for cancellations before April 25. After April 25, no refund will be given if the spot if not backfilled. Payment is needed at registration to secure your spot.
